Electric arc furnace, or EAF for short, is a heating furnace that transmits heat energy to a material through an electric arc discharge. It is an industrial furnace mainly used for smelting ores and metals.
In the steelmaking industry, it is very important to select and use the appropriate EAF refractories. The main purpose of refractories is to protect the furnace lining, improve the heating efficiency, ensure the quality of steel, and extend the service life of the furnace.
