Porous plug refer to composite functional components that use refractory materials as the matrix, and arrange a certain number of stainless steel airways or annular seams in the refractory matrix through a certain process (such as isostatic pressing process, etc.). During electric furnace steelmaking, gas (including nitrogen, argon, compressed air and carbon dioxide) can be blown into the furnace through this product to provide bottom blowing and stirring power for the molten steel. They are also called gas supply components for converters and electric furnaces (including porous core bricks, sleeve bricks, and lower well blocks).
