Magnesia carbon bricks for ladle are composite refractory bricks made of high melting point alkaline sintered magnesia sand, high purity magnesia sand, and high melting point carbon graphite that is difficult to be corroded by slag as the main raw materials, with non-oxide additives and phenolic resin binder added, mixed, kneaded, high-pressure molding and low-temperature treatment.
The product is mainly used in the slag line of the ladle, molten pool, and the bottom of the ladle, and other working parts can significantly improve the service life of the ladle, especially when applied to the slag line parts, its service life can be significantly higher than other refractory materials. Magnesia carbon bricks effectively utilize the anti-corrosion ability of magnesia sand and the high thermal conductivity and low expansion of carbon raw materials, so that magnesium carbon bricks can be used in the ladle to extend the service life of the ladle and increase the number of uses.
