Clay bricks are refractory bricks made of kaolin as the main raw material, with appropriate additives added, and made through processes such as molding, drying, and sintering.
Clay bricks have low refractoriness, generally between 1350-1450℃, but their price is low and they are suitable for furnace wall parts with lower temperatures. Clay bricks have poor thermal shock resistance and wear resistance, but have good thermal insulation properties and can reduce the energy consumption of electric furnaces.
