The BOF porous plug is a composite of metal tube and magnesia carbon brick. The ventilation channel is a heat-resistant stainless steel tube (φ3×1 or φ4×1), and the number of steel tubes is between 10 and 100 according to the size of the brick. The matrix is made of high-quality magnesia carbon bricks, which is synchronized with the life of the furnace bottom. Due to the large number of steel tubes, it has a high blowing rate and airflow stability rate under reasonable use, which can meet the requirements of top and bottom double blowing of the BOF.
