The BOF taphole blocks are made of high-quality fused magnesia and high-purity flake graphite as the main raw materials and are formed by high-pressure molding or isostatic pressing. This product is a critical area that endures severe operating conditions (abrasion, corrosion, and thermal shock) during converter operation & tapping. We provide sleeves and blocks for EBT furnaces, with the option of an Isostatically pressed single-piece sleeve or individual segmented pieces. Our sleeves and blocks offer high refractory life for enhanced furnace availability and slag-free tapping.
