PRODUCTS IN DETAIL
Mica Slip Plane materials are primarily designed to separate refractory linings from the coil grout of coreless induction furnaces. It is made of high-quality phlogopite and synthetic muscovite paper as the base material, and the alkali-free glass fiber cloth is used as the reinforcing material. Therefore, it has stronger tensile strength, voltage breakdown resistance, highest in density and dielectric strength, most heat resistance up to 1200°C.
Main characteristics and applications:
Insulation properties: Mica paper has excellent electrical insulation properties due to its highly arranged mica sheet structure and is often used as an insulation material in electrical equipment.
Heat resistance: Mica paper can maintain stable performance in high temperature environments and can usually withstand temperatures of several hundred degrees Celsius. It is used in situations with high requirements such as heat insulation and fire resistance.
Flexibility: Although mica paper is thin and brittle, it has a certain flexibility and can be cut and folded to facilitate the manufacture of insulating parts in various shapes
Chemical stability: Mica paper has good stability to most chemical substances and has certain corrosion resistance to acid and alkali environments.
Application:
Electrical insulation: Mica paper is widely used in electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, generators, etc. as an insulating material to isolate current and prevent leakage.
Thermal insulation material: Due to its good heat resistance, mica paper is used to manufacture thermal insulation gaskets, thermal insulation layers, etc. for high-temperature equipment to protect surrounding materials from high temperatures.
Fireproof material: In the fields of construction, aerospace, etc., mica paper is also used as a kind of fireproof material because it is not easy to burn and has a certain heat insulation effect.
Classification of mica paper:
1.Muscovite paper
Muscovite paper for epoxy board, muscovite paper for high temperature board, muscovite paper for motor belt
Made of natural muscovite crushed by hydraulic force, it has the characteristics of loose structure, good permeability and good air permeability. It is an ideal material for making low-resistance mica tape, and can also be used to make electric heating equipment.
2. Phlogopite paper
Phlogopite paper for fireproof belt
Made of natural phlogopite crushed by hydraulic force, it can withstand high temperature of 800-1000 degrees Celsius and is suitable for making fire-resistant mica tape and heat-resistant mica board.
3. Synthetic mica paper
Synthetic mica paper for fireproof cables
Mica paper made of synthetic mica flakes retains the excellent high temperature resistance and electrical insulation of synthetic mica to the maximum extent. The high temperature resistance grade can reach 1200℃, which is suitable for making synthetic mica ceramic mica tape and other mica insulation products.
4. Calcined mica Paper
Calcined Muscovite Paper for Motor Belt
Calcined muscovite is used as raw material, and pulped and made into paper by chemical or mechanical method. The paper pulp sheet is relatively large. The paper surface is flat and smooth, with excellent electrical resistance and tensile strength. It is mainly used to make single-sided reinforced low-glue mica tape, soft mica board and other mica insulation products.
5. Aramid fiber mica paper
The high-precision processed high-quality aramid fiber is evenly added to the original mica paper through a special process, and a high-performance composite aramid fiber mica paper composed of two materials with excellent insulation properties is produced by mechanical method, which greatly improves the performance of the product and is widely used as a nuclear insulation material in the traction motor of high-speed trains.
