Ceramic structured packing consists of corrugated ceramic sheets that facilitate optimal distribution of airflow throughout the media bed while resisting the accumulation of particulate matter that can lead to fouling. The surface structure exhibits superior wetting properties, thereby accelerating liquid flow and minimizing liquid stagnation within the packing. This reduces the likelihood of overheating, polymerization, and coking.

Lower pressure drop: Provides 30% lower pressure drop as compared to 1” ceramic saddles at the same gas flow, can save a lot of energy, operation flexibility, reduce costs.
Higher capacity: Increase flow to existing towers or reduce diameters of new tower designs.
High separation efficiency: Reduce fuel costs, more efficient than random packing of equal capacity.
Optimized system design: Maximize gas distribution in the bed, efficient and uniform distribution of gas and liquid across the cross section of the tower.
Good wettability: Can speed up the flow of liquid, reduce the amount of liquid retention to a minimum, and high mass transfer efficiency.
Economical: Cost effective alternative to exotic alloy and engineered plastic tower packings.
