PRODUCTS IN DETAIL
Boron nitride coating is an inert inorganic high-temperature lubricating material that does not adhere to or wet molten metal. It can completely protect the surface of refractory materials or ceramic vessels that are in direct contact with molten aluminum, magnesium, zinc alloys and slag, greatly extending the service life of such vessels.
Can be used in the fields of aluminum, magnesium, zinc and other alloy melting and casting, gravity/low-pressure casting, forging, powder metallurgy, etc. Widely applied to the surfaces of troughs, distribution troughs, casting platform liners, filter boxes, adapter plates, casting and rolling nozzle materials, skimmers, ladles, and other materials to protect molds from corrosion and extend the service life of refractory materials.
During the production process, the coating can prevent fine impurities from penetrating into the molten metal, greatly improving product quality. It has excellent lubricity and anti-oxidation ability in high temperature environments. Boron nitride, with its unique physical and chemical properties, can still protect its unique lubricity, non-stick properties, anti-seizure and anti-metal or graphite corrosion and oxidation even at extremely high temperatures. In addition to being used for the protection of various refractories, it also has excellent anti-chemical corrosion and anti-adhesion protection effects.
Advantages:
Non toxic, odorless, environmentally friendly and harmless to human body.
Good heat resistance, good corrosion resistance and long service life.
Achieve self-curing at room temperature.
Aging-resistant and radiation-resistant.
Good water resistance, salt spray resistance and organic solvent resistance.
Instructions:
1.Clean the surface of the protected material, rinse it, and then spray boron nitride.
2.Dilute the new launder at a 1:4 and brush the launder/furnace wall to a thickness of about 23 μm; Dilute the old launder at 1:6 and brush the launder/furnace wall to a thickness of about 20 μm.
3.Use a sponge/ brush/ spray gun to apply the diluted boron nitride coating to the surface of the material and adjust the dilution ratio as needed.
4.After coating, dry at about 300℃ and use it after the coating is dry.
5.For inaccessible local coatings (such as the inner wall of a thin tube), the coated parts can be immersed in the diluted boron nitride coating, then taken out and allowed the excess coating to flow out naturally. The parts can then be used after drying.
6.The coating should be even, without any accumulation on the surface, and should not be applied too thickly.
